We are delighted that you have decided to explore how you can support the University of South Florida’s Racism In Exclusionary Suspensions (RISES) research project. This project would not be possible without our partners at Allen Temple AME Church, the CDC of Tampa, Inc., and the Hillsborough County NAACP who are providing access to computers and the internet.

We have intentionally invited you as a member of the community to get involved and let your voice be heard, whether it is to take our survey and/or participate in our focus groups or interviews. Please know that the information that you plan to share with us will be anonymous. You can feel safe sharing your suspension experiences in your own words and without being identified by anyone. Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible with sharing what is on your mind on this very important topic.

We will be sure to provide you with our findings at the conclusion of the project, which is the fall of 2022. So, thank you for taking the first step toward participating in our research study. You may now proceed to registration so that you can take the survey and/or sign up to participate in the focus groups or interviews.

If at any time you are experiencing technical difficulties with registration or login, please email us at projectrises@usf.edu.
